Sirup Markisa (Passion Fruit Syrup)

Sirup markisa is a sweet and sour drink made from passion fruit. It is typically deep purple or red in color and has a strong, tart flavor. Sirup markisa can be enjoyed on its own or used in a variety of cocktails and mocktails.

Sirup markisa is a good source of vitamins C and A, as well as fiber. It is also a good source of antioxidants, which can help protect your body from damage caused by free radicals.

Sirup markisa can be made at home or purchased from stores. To make sirup markisa yourself, you will need:

  • 1 cup passion fruit, peeled and seeded
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

To enjoy sirup markisa, simply mix it with water or soda water to taste. You can also use it in cocktails and mocktails, or as a topping for ice cream or yogurt.
