Location and Access to the Waterfall
Turbo Waterfall, also known as Turunan Bolon, is located in Tomuan Holbung Village, Dusun X, Bandar Pasir Mandoge District, Asahan Regency, North Sumatra. Its location is quite remote, far from the city of Medan.
Reaching Turbo Waterfall requires time and effort. From Medan, you need to go to Pematang Siantar City, then to Tanah Jawa District. From Tanah Jawa, there is still a 17-kilometer journey with unpaved roads.
The journey through the plantation with dirt and gravel roads will provide an exciting experience. Be sure to be careful, especially during the rainy season as the roads can be slippery. It is recommended to leave early in the morning so you arrive at the location before noon.
After traveling by vehicle, you have to continue trekking for 20 minutes through a footpath.

Before reaching the waterfall, you will hear a loud roar. That sound comes from the very fast flow of water, which is probably why this waterfall is named Turbo.
