Sibisa International Airport: The Gateway to Lake Toba

Sibisa International Airport (IATA: SIW, ICAO: WIMP) is an airport located in Ajibata District, Toba Samosir Regency, North Sumatra, Indonesia. The airport has a runway length of 1,900 meters and a passenger terminal area of 2,000 square meters. The airport is located 10 kilometers from Parapat City, Lake Toba.
Accessibility:
Previously, Sibisa Village – a village in Toba Samosir Regency – could only be reached by land (7 km from the Trans-Sumatra Highway). Now, with the presence of Sibisa International Airport, this village can be reached by air from Kuala Namu International Airport, Medan.
History:
Sibisa Airport officially started operating on November 15, 2006, followed by the inauguration of the first Susi Air flight on the Medan-Sibisa route.

The airport is a public airport managed by the government, specifically serving Parapat City as the nearest city. Facilities at this airport include:

Airlines:
Currently, only Susi Air serves flights at Sibisa International Airport with the Medan-Sibisa route.
