- Motor Ship (KM): Transports passengers and goods from Gunung Sitoli to other areas in Nias Islands or North Sumatra. Examples of KMs operating in Gunung Sitoli Port are KM. Wira Viktoria, KM. Wira Glory, KM. Wira Ono Niha, KM. Wira Prime, and KM. Wira Mutiara.
- Ferry Motor Ship (KMP): Transports passengers and vehicles from Gunung Sitoli to other areas in Nias Islands or North Sumatra. Examples of KMPs operating in Gunung Sitoli Port are KMP. Belanak and KMP. Teluk Singkil.
History:
- During the Dutch colonial period, Gunungsitoli Port located in Moawo (1864) was moved to the city center located in Kelurahan Pasar (1926).
- In 1980, the port was moved again to Kelurahan Labuhan Angin.
