Aek Sipitu Dai: Seven Springs with Different Tastes in Samosir
The Uniqueness of Aek Sipitu Dai Springs
Aek Sipitu Dai, or the Seven Taste Springs, is located on Samosir Island, precisely in Sipitu Dai Village, Sianjur Mula-mula District, Samosir Regency. This tourist attraction is quite popular due to its uniqueness: it has seven fountains of spring water with different tastes.
Names and Benefits of the Fountains
Each fountain has its own name and benefits. For example, Aek Poso is specifically for mothers to bathe their children who have not yet grown teeth, Paridian Sibaso is believed to help with childbirth, Paridian Pangulu is a bathing place for elderly men, and Paridian Doli-doli is for young men who are descendants of Guru Tetea Bulan.
The Mystery of the Different Water Tastes
The main uniqueness of Aek Sipitu Dai is the different taste of its water. The seven fountains have different water tastes even though they come from the same source. The water from the seven springs flows into a long tank (Labuan) before flowing to the fountains.
Facilities that Need Improvement
Despite its attractions, Aek Sipitu Dai still lacks several facilities. Adequate parking space and dining facilities for Muslim visitors are not yet available.
Advice for Muslim Visitors
For Muslim visitors, it is recommended to bring your own food because there are no food stalls that provide halal food at the tourist location.
Aek Sipitu Dai is a unique tourist attraction with different water tastes. Although it still needs development in terms of facilities, this place is still interesting to visit. It is hoped that in the future the management of this tourism can be improved to provide comfort and a better experience for visitors.
